Artist Photographer

About

Mariah Skellorn was born in Suffolk in 1982. Her photographic practice involves depicting imagined scenarios of how life and environment might change in the future.

She often uses humour to address contentious issues around environment. In presenting somehow logical, yet ultimately impractical solutions to ecological problems, she aims to engage her audience through amusement and curiosity.

She is currently completing an artist in residence program at University Campus Suffolk.

Pre-adaptation is on show at the Waterfront Gallery, Ipswich from 28th June - 24th July 2012.
